Entscheidungsunterstützungssystem (EUS). 1. Begriff: Computergestütztes Planungs- und Informationssystem (⇡ computergestütztes Planungssystem, ⇡ Führungsinformationssystem (FIS)), das die Entscheidungsvorbereitung auf den Führungsebenen unterstützt, indem entscheidungsrelevante Informationen verdichtet und geeignet dargestellt werden (z.B. in Tabellen oder Grafiken).
- 2. Anwendungsbereiche: V.a. bei schlecht strukturierbaren Problemen eines betrieblichen Funktionskreises, z.B. Werbebudgetplanung, Cashflow-Planung.
- 3. Merkmale: Leichte Handhabbarkeit; einfache Durchführung von Alternativrechnungen und Simulationen; Berücksichtigung von Modellvarianten und -änderungen.
- 4. Hilfsmittel: Einfache ⇡ Datenbanken; Zugriff auf umfassende ⇡ externe Datenbanken, ⇡ Planungssprachen u.a.
